Famous Vilnius King & Mouse whiskey bar & shop was releasing its signature, limited release whisky. A unique packaging was need to make the product stand out in the crowd of traditional whisky brands and bring atention to the release.
Drawing the inspiration from both the brand’s name and the quality of the ingredient whiskies, we have decided present a traditional Scotish whisky in a unique visual languge, using iconic yet minimalistic presence and celebrating the brand's history itself.
The design is based on the idea of a monument. We created a complex layout for the first ever geometric shaped whisky box, that resembles a bold, brutalistic silhouette. The boxing is made of a three-piece construction & the surface is engraved with copper foiling. A minimalistic stripe-shaped label gives a long silhouette to the classic Boston round shape. The cork was crowned with a textured hand-made coronet. The packaging is tinted in metallic royal blue to highlight the modern & monumental silhouette.
One week after the launch, almost every single one of 257 bottles were reserved.
